At the Bujinkan Ryusui Dojo, we teach a combination of Gyokko ryu Kosshijutsu, Koto ryu Koppojutsu, Togakure ryu Ninpo Taijutsu, and Takagi Yoshin ryu Jutaijutsu; Japanese martial arts that were developed by samurai for use on the battlefield. Skills from these arts have been incorporated into modern sports such as Judo, Kendo, and Brazillian Jiujitsu.

Bujinkan Ryusui Dojo uses a nine phase training plan, as dojo members progress through each phase of training, they will be recommended for “menkyo” (training licenses) through the “honbu” (main) dojo in Japan.

Each phase of training includes “junan taiso” (physical conditioning), “ukemi taihenjutsu”  (breakfalls, rolling, and leaping skills), “dakentaijutsu” (striking skills), “kumiuchi” (grappling skills), and “bukiwaza” (techniques with weapons).
